Bette Davis - 20 years gone; never forgotten

Very much remembered, admired, beloved and missed, the legendary Miss Bette Davis still remains the greatest movie actress ever for many all over the world, as well as one of the 20th century's biggest icons. She passed away October 6, 1989, but her wonderful, original and incomparable legacy forever will live on.

Once more, this goes to you, dear Miss Davis. With deep love and unconditional devotion.

I love this video, and the song is so sweet! I am a massive fan of Bette of course, she is THE greatest star ever. Look how gorgeous she is at 0.55! I have seen dozens of her films but still got loads to go...

She's not really gone, I believe - Her huge body of work, more and more is restored and on DVD-her talk show appearances, the Foundation her son set up -

I first discovered her movies back in the early 70's when I was a teenager - I had never (and still haven't) seen anything like her - all she has to do is walk in a room and there are SPARKS shooting from her-she reamains to me the most exciting and great actress I've ever enjoyed -only sorry she didn't get to work with Meryl Streep!
