"One Foot In Heaven" Fredric March

Wonderful look at a Methodist preacher's time back in 1917. Wow, what a difference it is today. Have we come a long way from Godly living or what? Anyway, you have to see this movie if you are a Christian. If you are not one then I dare you to give an open minded look. Who knows; you might like it.

I'm not trying to troll, but the intellectual dishonesty of these lines upsets me (in spite of the fine acting). The first world war was enabled by nationalism: men believing and thinking with their emotions instead of their heads. Religion shares those characteristics. And you can certainly observe all the physical phenomena behind a toothache, right down to the signal in the nerves.

Thank you for posting all the same, I think March was fantastic!

Love this part can you see faith Or God, hear it touch it smell it. Nope!! Fredric said it perfectly , thank God for such brilliance in creating perfect dialogue, which makes it clear. Love love this movie.
