International Day Against Child Labor and USAID

On June 12, the International Day Against Child Labor, Ambassador Wither spoke at USAIDs Transnational Action Against Child Trafficking (TACT) projects launch of the third annual campaign on awareness of child exploitation. The campaign will run from June to October. The awareness campaign has two primary goals: 1) to raise public awareness on the violation of the rights of children that are forced to work and beg on Albanias streets, and 2) to raise the awareness of key Albanian decision makers so that they include child protection policies in their policy planning and implementation.
