He probably could have shaved the record a bit more if he had a horse beside him, you can clearly see that Campbell isnt asking for all and he probably had a little more to give...

The late Curt Greene wrote that Continentalvictory was the best trotter ever to come along, & she would have owned every record in the sport had she not had to retire due to injury.
Mack was great too, but it's not as clear-cut as some might say

might be the 2nd greatest race horse of all time...any breed or gait....only Big Red was better (that would be Secretariat if you were wondering)
