Sam Cohen on the Neutron Bomb MVI 4790

Sam Cohen was a nuclear physcist working on the Manhattan Project specializing in "Neutrons". He invented the Neutron Bomb and received a Medal the Pope for doing so.
Mr. Cohen's daughter took him to see "Repo Man". After seeing the movie several times, he contacted Alex Cox, writer/Director, and from that contact, these interviews about the movie and the Neutron Bomb ended up in the outtakes and extras section of the DVD after 2005.

This is a great movie! Go out and buy the DVD. YOu will be enamored of the commentaries, the discussions amongst the makers of the movie AND the Sam Cohen comments about war, pacifism, and the movie.

It is a good interview to see in order to understand where the heads of the nuclear physcists, politicians and philosophers were after WWII ended. The world simply went mad! Through nuclear deterrent we nearly blew the earth to bits. Perhaps many of us alive and living some of our lives outdoors up to 1962, might have ingested atmospheric materials from above ground nuclear tests. A full half of all USA above ground tests carried out in New Mexico, were done a one year period, 1961 to 1962!!!

Nuclear reactors for power, research and isotopes are simply a different way of controlling a nuclear reaction. Waste still results from these reactions, and in the 65 years since Nagasaki and Hiroshima scientists, politicians and philosophers have found no solution in dealing with Nuclear waste other than pawining it off on "Willing host communities", in other words, the jurisdiction with the least population and/or political will (suckers).
