PBR Nov 8 09 Too Much Guts!

This battle didn't turn out the way I was hoping. If you look at his team, you can see that it is Solid, both defensively and offensively. Whoever put it together definately knew what they were doing. Compare that team to the Dawn pass, and you'll see that the Dawn pass is heavily Fighting type weak. And when I say heavily, I mean 3 teamates take super-effective hits, and the other 3 wouldn't be able to take a fighting type attack anyway. So, the odds were pretty well stacked against me in this battle.

When I saw Hariyama come out, all I could do was pray that it didn't have Guts so that I could burn it with Buneary, but that obviously that didn't happen. I think I danced around Rotom too much with Piplup, I should have just switched right back to Ambipom.

I was a little disappointed with Frustration's damage output on Hariyama. Does a Pokemon's Happiness level drop to 0 when it is traded, or do you need to lower it more to gain more power with Frustration? Or maybe that Hariyama was just EV'd in HP and Defense. Oh well.

Happiness when you trade is at the same level as when you catch a wild Pokémon: like around 25% of its max.

I actually just gave it and Buneary Frustration because I'm lazy, but I suppose I'll have to give it Return.

lol oglemi, i bet that most people get really excited when they see your teams because they will know that its you. im pretty sure that there aren't many other role playing teams that could pull character teams off. :)

I think a poke's happiness returns to its base happiness when traded. You can check a poke's happiness with serebii's pokedex.
