"Lucky" Penguin at the Santa Barbara Zoo

One "Lucky" Humboldt penguin is sporting a fashionable shoe at the Santa Barbara Zoo thanks to Teva! Lucky hatched on April 15, 2010 and appeared healthy, but, as he grew and started walking, keepers noticed that his foot wasn't developing normally. Different treatments were tried, but the best solution wasn't found until the Zoo reached out to the Teva shoe company for help in creating the perfect shoe for him. Lucky is now able to live happily on exhibit just like the other penguins at the Crawford Family Penguin House.
