Robert Ingersoll Vs the Doctrine of Hell(Speech in Description)

Before Madalyn Murray O' Hair gave atheists a bad name, there was Robert Ingersoll. Ingersoll was a Civil War veteran, attorney, and progressive thinker who was very critical of religion, especially of the doctrine of eternal damnation.
The next time a religous person says all atheists are immoral, point to Ingersoll, who was an advocate of women and children's rights, and the dignity and worth
of all human beings.

@rightlydivide when you say 'hell is a place created by Him" what is it that you are saying? The english word 'hell' is translated from 4 hebrew and greek words - sheol, hades, gehenna and tatarus.which one is God going to damn your soul to? None of the original words have anything to do with eternal torment in fire- nor are any of them deemed to be without end since they are dirived from the words olam and aion which mean 'age' or 'age abiding' - not 'without end' which one must i reconsider?

i sometimes think maybye its Doctor Jekyll & Mr Hyde with the bible....but , and this is coming from a lifelong aetheist rationalist (believe it or not) I worked out that irrefutably from a number of experiences/+ epiphanies that there is a New World ORder, that the elites of this world are about to enact revelations (2012 film preconditioning to panic the sheep, ready to be easier manipulated for it)..elites about to do this, either because bizarre reason or is a god!
