For the first time in over a year, we finally see a train pulling into Tarrytown on Track 4, which is usually the local track. However, today, we see Metro North Train 864, the express to Grand Central Terminal. 864 consists of Shoreline II cab car 6301 with 6 additional Shoreline II coaches and a Genesis P32ACDM shoving from the rear. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on July 27th, 2009.

  • were they redoing the tracks there?

  • No. They had just finished doing work on the southbound platforms between here and Croton (Philipse Manor, Scarborough, and Ossining), and they worked feverishly over night to open Track 4 up. Now the other platforms on the northbound side will be replaced.

  • Shoreliners are cool and it's too bad that Metro North took apart Tarrytown and replaced the concrete platforms with wooden platforms.

  • I never understand why they never open up the last 1-2 caes for everyone to get on.

  • look at all those idiots not using both doors.

  • Wow what was all those people waiting for

  • Is this station near a college?

  • ahhhh... thanks for the info dave.
