Thanks so much for posting this. Those are some great camera angles of Tony at the beginning of the tune. Billy Pierce really sounds forceful on this clip. I love his solo. I would go to see this group every time they came to the Jazz Showcas in Chicago. If you got there early enough you could sit about two feet away from Tony directly to his left and see his technique up close. Tony Williams is my favorite musician of all time.

Awesome band,Tony had flawless technique,but was also very musical,w/ amazing control of dynamics- he'd often play loud as shit, but could be real quiet and swingin and was a great composer too.

the band is kinda shy in front of tony. Only in swing the wood bass worked but whe they star playing that jazz rock thing it would have been better to start with an electric bass. Great drummer.... try listening "fred" from him
