@huntwithairguns That's what I did, and now I am bagging deer at 300 yards...

LoL...you must not understand the concept of a scout mount. You are using a rifle scope which doesn't have enough eye relief. You need a scout scope or a handgun scope. Under the rear sight there will be a 3/8" dovetail. Go buy a 1 piece airgun mount that fits a 3/8" dovetail and get a handgun scope. Then you will have something.

@ThePopeAndy oh... an afternoon of .308 makes me sore. but the m14 the only gun ive shot thats a .308

@JordansBeans Well lets just say the first shot will dislocate your shoulder. The second will knock it back in place.
Just kidding it has some recoil to it but nothing one couldn't handle. Quite a lot more recoil than my AK47 and slightly more recoil than a .308 rifle. Also the Mosin Nagant is quite loud and has a big muzzle flash. It's one awesome gun shoots accurately shoots far and is powerful plus you really can't beat that price.

if you cant hit something with a rifle at 100 yards, you dont need to be near a rifle
Is that a rear leaf sight mount? I've heard bad things about those
-
how bad does one of those kick?

nice gun
Nice gun, but dude, you gotta ditch the scope...I can bullseye at 100 yards with ironsights (provided the gun is sighted correctly, that can take some time to get it right).

I did, the mount was wobbling too much. I do feel more comfortable using the iron sights. Although I am planning to get the sniper version with the PU scope though.
