@tejastiger61 Its a Roush Ford 427, not a Chevy motor. Ford built a 427 "cammer" motor in the 60's which is what the modern Ls Chevy motors are based on. Dont assume its a Chevy motor because it says 427. The newer kit cars your talking about perform better than the originals. They have better suspension, there lighter, and if you wreck one you dont have to worry about it as much as an original because they are cheap.

@tejastiger61 Who puts a Chevy in a Cobra!? What a bucket of chit!

It's the driver in this case Not the Car... A good driver could overtake the Cayman ... PLUS this is not a REAL 427 ... AC Corbra its fiberglass job, a kit car with small block Chevy....

nice relaxed run , the cobra looks like a blast to drive.

At first I thought you were jsut taking it becasue you had the horsepower to catch the Porsche, but then when you said you were tryin got learn the lines--I realized what was going on: most people early apex becasue it feels like the "right line" you have to trust when you square up the apex that you put the car into the right line eventhough you cannot see the apex on the entry. You got to look for your turn in points and not the actual apex.
You always early apex compared to the Porsche

The MK III is much faster...the Cayman in front of me is an instructor and I was following him to learn his lines. It makes for good video to have a point of reference besides the track. I probably had 100 HP over that Cayman and weighed a few hundred pounds less and had more rubber on the ground...yea, the Cobra is faster.

I thought, 427 Cobra will be much faster than Cayman. =)
0-60?
I'm going to purchase SPF MKIII with side oiler before next summer. =)

0-60 depends on your clutch/throttle expertise...if you could get all that power to the ground...it should be sub 3 seconds or just over.

The original AC Cobra came with a reverse sweeping Smith speedometer. This car has a Smith AC Cobra replica gauge in it. It's the only car I've seen with the reverse sweeping speedometer but I understand that it may not be all that uncommon in older british cars.
