@KingRyltar I agree but in most Filipino dishes salt and pepper is always added. The amount depends on the cook or personal preferences.

You don't need to add the salt in the beginning or later, due to the use of fish sauce. Fish sauce is made with salt, and is a salt substitute itself.

@shredder7fariborz hello, sabi nila ung minced calamsnsi seed daw pwede isubstitute sa papait. We haven't tried it but some people do it. Thanks for comment:-)
