Thanks for listening the my new track Global Warming. I can identify to a degree with those of us who say that global warning is a made-up political ploy. Your opinion does hold merit to a point. However, our responsibility as custodians of our planet-home makes it imperative that we are sensitive to changes in Mother Earth's health.

I feel that the sudden changes that are clearly taking place on the planet should not be disregarded as just a natural process. Yes, it can be argued that climate change is part of the natural flow of things. Yet even this we are unsure of.

If we are to neglect the changes that are taking place and later find out that we were wrong and should have addressed global warming as we are currently doing; we will face a future filled with regret and hardship because of our insensitivity to our Mother Earth. It is therefore in our best interest to respond to these climatic changes with concern

Even though there is not 100% certainty that global warming is as a result of the way that we are currently polluting the planet, just think of how much more conscious our human-family have become since the topic of global warming has been raised to the international level. We now see ourselves more as a collective whole solely based on the fact that we are collectively faced with an issue that affects us all. We have become more educated about the planet and her varied life forms, and the way in which every aspect of life co-exist in an intricately woven web of life, where the simplest life forms are as important as you and I.

Having an open mind is essential to one's conscious growth. Being a spiritual person I feel, is being sensitive to others and in the long run to all life. Disregarding any symptom of change is counterproductive. We should be concerned. Sometimes your child or loved-one may show symptoms of illness and you immediately show concern. You become sensitive, you administer a remedy. Even though she may have been just a bit under the weather and not really ill, what you did was the right thing, the natural thing to do. Think of the present situation in the same way. We are doing the right thing to show concern about our precious planet-home. This is the only one that we have.

Is it wise to disregard these changes based on your above information?

Even if current climate change may not result in the drastic effects scientist predict, the time and money spent on global warming research is warranted compared to the time and money spent on war and other wasteful human endeavors.
