@jung567 They do give points for the shoto but very very rarely, generally the opponents daito (bigger shinai) must be completely suppressed with your own daito and the attack with the shoto has to be incredibly clean otherwise they are apt not to count it
-
lol they're both sei nitos
-
@anurok because points are not given with short sword, but i heard now they are given when u hit with short sword
-
I am learning kendo right now! But are there nagitana fighting like nito!!!
-
I am just now trying to get into Kendo after trying to find a martial art that would suite me best. I think this is it.
Just one question, why do Nito artists usually never attack with the short sword?
-
This is cool. I don't see nito very often as it is, but I've never seen nito against nito before.
-
how good is Nito?! I love watching it. we have this guy at our club that does it for fun but he doesnt compete in tournaments with the style. but he is quite goo, was quite odd fighting his for the first time in nito, trying to keep an eye on both swords is quite tricky :s

This is SO cool. I've never watch a nito on nito fight before.

No, I don't. By the time he'd become apart of the SKK Dojo, I think he'd already known it...
Tanimura san is my sensei. He's very very fast. I once fought him when he was using nito shinai and I must say, it was quite the experience.
