ordered this card 'cause my 9600 gt is dying ....will I notice any performance increase?.I got this card mainly to replace 9600 gt and I'm not expecting anything better.

It won't be a night and day difference, but performance should be better. Just make sure you uninstall your Nvidia drivers and get the latest Catalyst drivers. Then run CCleaner (free download, Google it) and a disk defrag program like Auslogics disk defrag (also free download).

Should be a solid budget upgrade. Just make sure you install the latest catalyst drivers and uninstall the Nvidia ones!

Hi, I have the GeForce 8800 GT (110W) and want to replace it with the Radeon 4770 (80W).
It is said to outperform the 8800 while staying much cooler.
If that's true, that's be awesome.
Do you think the 3rd party VGA cooler "Zalman VF900-Cu" might fit ?

I'm not sure if the cooler would be compatible, but I don't see the jump from an 8800GT-->4770 as being big enough to justify the upgrade. My advice is to either step up to a 4890 or wait for DX11 cards later this year.
