Just a small animation to show the quantum class model on screen. More a collection of flybys than a coherent animation. The ship was designed by Section31 and the original model made in Sketchup by TE Williams. I converted the model to Lightwave format, made a couple of alterations and promised the guys I'd do a short animation. Here it is. The model is available for download from the Sketchup Warehouse and in .lwo format from my websites at www.kennyscrap.com
Hey man...nice video.I m not professional and I m trying to make a short movie.can you tell me how can I export a scene as an. Avi or mp4 video on lightwave 3d?is it possible?

@kvangel You can, but best way is to render as single frame pictures and then make it into an animation using something like Veedub or Adobe Premier.

how did you convert the file from sketchup to lightwave?

@CDRIeuan I downloaded the trial version of Sketchup Pro. You get a few hours free, and it only takes second to export the model as .3ds or .obj which Lightwave can read. You then spend time in Lightwave fixing the holes and retexturing. Tkes a minute to convert, but a few hours to get it looking decent.
