  • @AmesburyTV The following information was copied from the "Details" section for this product on the main Crutchfield website: "You can choose to operate your iPod/iPhone through the JVC head unit's front-panel controls, from its clickwheel/touchscreen, or via a streamed app from your iPhone.". Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • can you control the ipod trough the ipod itself, instead of "head mode"

  • @EpiccampKiller A little off topic for this particular video but we can help nonetheless. If you cannot upgrade your alternator, the next best option to address your power draw issue is to add a capacitor. We recommend 1 farad of capacitance for every 500 watts RMS in your system. You will find our selection of capacitors on the main Crutchfield website by typing the keyword “Capacitor” into the search window. You can also call for a personalized recommendation: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • I have 2 12' type R's on an 1000 watt amp and a 200 watt speaker amp too. I need a new alternator, and i was wondering the minimum amount of amperage i needed to power these safely. I know that a high output alternator is an option, but they're too expensive for me. Your thoughts and recommendations would be highly appreciated!!
