TiVo: Operators, don't be an ostrich when it comes to OTT

Service providers must not be ostriches and stick their heads in the sand when it comes to making OTT content available to consumers. That is the view of Jason Wong, Director Product Marketing at TiVo, whose company is partnering with major operators to enable the integration of third-party online content as part of next-generation platforms. TiVo now offers a hybrid STB so operators using the TiVo platform have a non-DVR option, something that also means they can build whole-home solutions with the TiVo STB as an IP thin client on a home network.
