Probably a dead capacitor near the noise generator. Replacements are easy to find at your local electronics shop, just open it up and look for something leaking white cruft, desolder it and solder in a replacement. Get the schematic to find out what value you need.
These machines are dead simple.

@neolojism Thanks for the info, however, the opprotunity to buy this machine passed 3 years ago. However, I've picked up 3 DR-110's over the past couple of years. I'd like to keep one factory stock and mod the others with sync ins, individual outs and tonal controls.
