Duel Expansion Pack is a Skyrim Mod that put more depth in combat system. Now you can stagger on a hit, blocking goes to your stamina, and many other tricks that will gives you more control when fighting.

  • I like the change with using shields, at least that you stamina is depleted. But i personally think that you should take some damage too.

  • @Speluncus Actually, you get a percentage of damage in health as well. Read the mod page of Skyrim Nexus for more details.

  • just a suggestion, in real life what actualy happens when both individuals are heavily armoured is that the weapon just bounces off eachother's armour without doing damage for most of the hits, however the few that goes through do substantial/fatal damage. Since i know that skyrim has the mechanic to completely evade damage i was wondering if you can impliment damage evasion as opposed to damage reduction % but the few hits that is not evaded does critical damage.

  • @wenjunabes It is possible to make such a mod, but a player like to have control on a fight and a random fatal blow won't be satisfying for most of them out there.

  • Cool mod lograam. You're making Skyrim a better game so thanks. You should make an archery mod, it's pretty bad in Skyrim, arrows are to slooooowww. Anyway great mod ;-)

  • @6am3fana71c dageers affected too, because of the staggering chance that normal attacks got in this mod

    the daggers got the fastest attacking speed so you can hit an opponent 5-7 times and he˛/she cant attack you thanks to staggering

    it works pretty well against any foe 1on1

    oh, and the video didnt show it but you can stagger "spraying" (flame/spark/fostbite) mages with just a normal swing and a spraying spell can stagger you too

  • @lograam could you make it that when npcs and players get hit that it has an effect on the opponents body every time i mean how fucking stupid does it look when you hit someone on this game and sword goes past them sometimes it's hard to tell if you even hit him the only indicator is the health so having the weapon bounce off realistcally or have the person being hit have an effect to being hit correctly like if to the head maybe the head moves.? or body with head moving forward body move back
