This is the Captain Scarlet Trailer from the year 2000. It was made to check out the possibility to recreate the old series in CGI.

  • Yes!

  • The 1st time i saw the original puppets series i was 5years old and i got it in dvd box set like the other Gerry Anderson's series. This trailler are AWESOME.

I think it's the voice of FRANCIS MATHIEW cpt SCARLET and the late ED BISHOP for CPT BLUE who did the original voices of this legendary persona.

  • Yes, you are right. These are the voices from the original series, although they sound a bit older.

  • Thank god they changed his voice, and the shitty animation, this series was good!

  • @Lachieo72 dude, the new series came out years ago. where hve you been?

  • @Densaku I disgaree. As much as I adore the old series, CGi gives the characters freedom that they never had when they were on strings

  • that was actually really cool lol

  • This vid proves one thing: "Supermarionation" was way better than CGI.

  • I think this was conceptually far better than the CGI version that finally appeared, although technically as good. It was great to hear Francis Matthews and Ed Bishop in their old roles, but sadly Donald Gray who did Colnel White/ Captain Black and the Mysteron voice had since passed away. His replacement in the new version played by Mike Hayley was eerily similar.

  • i wish they had based an episode around this tailer would of been an awesome episode
