  • @c90395398 Everyone must be accountable for their actions. You're using the word 'citizen' and I'm using the word 'human'. Police are both. 'Set' mentalities in humans have cause countless disasters. This one ended well, the gauker backed off and so did the cop. Good job to both.

The problem with hindsight is that many possible scenarios get overlooked. Why bother? It's done with...right? If something would've happened to this guy he would be screaming where were the police? They can't win.

  • cant believe S.P.D. didn't kill you!

  • @pulsejet1 police must be as accountable for their actions, after all, they are citizens like us. If they were poorly trained and lack mental agility, they should not be patrolling the streets with a gun on their hips. The moment someone unjustifiably points a firearm at you, you are allowed to respond with deadly force, which is why police are trained to asess the level of threat they are under. Otherwise, every traffic would be allowed to begin with the officer pointing the gun at you.

  • @pulsejet1 I'd give that a thumbs up if i could.

  • @denimdonna No, he took the extra step to stop and start recording. It was a high stress situation, and the cop may have had his gun already out. May have thought the guy was a threat at first then realized not after he had his gun on him. Who knows? We definitely don't from the info given here.

They have to make a lot of very quick decisions. They're not going to be right all the time. So the police really can't win. From the sound of it I think this cop did fine and the guy reacted well.

  • @tonifreakshow..... not so free if you are paying taxes. And that isn't what we are arguing about. He had a gun pointed at him, what the fuck does that have to do with our country being free?.... dumbass

  • @eriklocs you're full of shit. it's a FREE country.

  • @denimdonna Well.... the camera guy did put himself in that position. Take a look at the circumstances, violent people breaking shit with weapons isn't a really a peaceful place. So the cop is only looking out for his life. The guy that had the gun pointed at him shouldn't have been filming the stupid violent incident! Is recording the incident really worth his life?! That is why the cop told him, "this isn't a good time." Because it isn't! The camera guy should be home, it is a dangerous scene!

  • @eriklocs Ever had a gun pointed at you? It's a big deaaaal!! (especially if you're unarmed..instant bitch)..no one has the right to put you in that position unless you first put yourself there. He was walking home. If you don;t see the blatant point being made, just get back on that short bus and ride it to Iraq..They'll explain it to you. They wish they had our constitution and you could give a shit..lol. Typical product of the public school system. Thank God we aren't all typical.

  • Running amuck with matching outfits, up to the black bandana masks and a pick axe..in a bag..?...only 1 arrest...lol..sounds like cops to me... Stand back sir...and try to stay out of visual range of the masked men..not a good time..not a good time..wtfever. Can you say CHEESE?..I knew you could..wink wink The store owners should make them pay for the dmg.. I bet the car dealership got paid up front..lol.
