I think they should have choosen David Bateson as the actor.

Because he IS agent 47. He naturally looks like him, and he got exactly the same voice like him, because david is the voiceactor to agent 47.

If it is not the game then why has it the same title same protogonist and (quite) same setting , story (well usually these are the parts that fucked up the most)

If they cant make it a good movie adaptation then they shouldn't do it with big names from big games.
