@TheMuziekmann just in case you are not joking i will give you some education: becoming enlightened in buddhist philosophy is to enter a state of the cessation of suffering. the enlightenment, which they are referring to here, took place in the 18th century to mobilize the power of reason to reform society and advance knowledge. It promoted intellectual interchange and opposed intolerance and abuses in Church and state.
