  • What gets me is how exaggerated the movements are between them, especially the flute player. She oversells, and it turns it a bit too comical.

  • They are having a great time and they are communicating. This is something that is sorely missed in most performances.

  • I agree that performances should have movement in it, but it should be natural movement. You can tell (especially on the cues where she bends her knees and where she moves like she's on a stairstepper) that they are trying way too hard to force the motion.

  • I respectfully disagree. This seems very natural, especially for this piece. Whatever she is doing, she is doing it right.

    I agree, it seems people might be noticing the way it was filmed. It looks like it was filmed on a green screen, then given a back drop which seems a little unnatural though tasteful.
