A fundamental principle of good animation is getting a sense of overlapping action (drag, overlap, lead & follow, etc.) In this video I try to get right down to the nuts and bolts of how it works- regardless of the medium. CG, hand drawn, stop-motion-- it's all the same when you understand what you're trying to do.

the best thing about this video, is how INSANELY complicated you make this fundamental seem by drawing 900 diagrams to illustrate the concept.
