I had a few comments on the plane being too loud for a cat. So I made some earmuffs for her. We are flying over the strait of Juan de Fuca. The Olympic mountains are ahead of us. Plane is a cessna 172.

  • 5,000 maybe 4,500 feet

  • Amazing video ! Congratulations on how you love your amazing and very beautiful cat ! .... May I give you a piece of advice as to how to get more viewings : change the title of the video and start with the word CAT (e.g. "cat Iris flying on a plane with earmuffs")... .Your videos of your cat flying are truly exceptional and should normally get far more viewings !

  • @bepobepa I suppose. I'll give it a try.

  • What would happen if human doesn't wear ear protection, do they become deaf? Do you guys wear ear protection in this type of a plane?

  • @skypopear

hi, Pilot and passengers where over the ear protection. It is kinda loud.

  • I can't believe she left the earmuffs in and they didn't bother her.

  • You should market those, like Mutt Muffs. Seriously, Pilots For Paws would be all over them.

  • @ 1:03. Hmmmm, lets see, AP, ALT, APR, LVL, I wonder what these do.?

  • @scarybaldguy im pretty sure they were just cotton balls...

  • @zynthesis Umm, thats what i did? First comment: "What altitude is that at?".

You also can't compare a cat to a human.

  • @maciekish Yeah exactly. Planes that go higher are pressurized. At what point did humans leave the animal world? I don't see any mention that the pilot is breathing heavly at that altitude. Perhaps you should ask if the pilot what altitude he was flying and if it was safe for him to be at that altitude.

  • dude you have the coolest cat in the world! ;-)

  • @zynthesis Yes, in pressurized airplanes. Troll.
