  • I like those Cummins from those years until 2002.

  • The 12 and 24 Valve Cummins Diesel Engines do not have glow plugs. Just Grid Heaters.

  • @Joseph9536 yeah, me too

  • cummins i think that says it all!

  • forgive my ignorance but whats the point of all these cold start vids for diesels ?

  • @ProStreet83C10 until the engine temperature reaches 175F, if you have a fooler built into the ECT gauge you can have it high idle on 3 cylinder indefinitely.

  • @KyleTucker1209 yeah i know what you mean, my 99 went to 360XXX mi before the auto trans quit

  • I love the sound of Dodge Ram starters.

  • Cold winter in Siberia. Month is -45с degrees.

But here we KAMAZ trucks at a temperature not run.

We just have -25с degrees (in Siberia), as for you -45 (USA). Climate, or rather humidity is another

I have a "Canadian" Isuzu Trooper with a gasoline engine. He does not want to start at - 35С degrees :(

Bighorn with a diesel engine, the same start problem.

I dream of RAM. And your video is it gives hope that Cummins Dodge will be able to work in Siberia :)

  • It was -25 here in Oklahoma a week ago.I went out cycled the glow plugs twice turned the key and the old 5.9 cummins fired right up.Cranked slow as shit with the old ass batteries i have in it but the cummins is the best diesel hands down.I own a 6.9 idi also and had a 6.5GM but cummins is the best motor. Now all the stuff around the motor...................
