Actually, the Fiesler FI-103 was a pretty complex guided missile. It had pressurized air tanks that controlled the gyroscope platform and flight control actuators, a gyro compass, a magnetic compass, a triode radio valve, and an odometer driven by a vane anemometer. When the odometer count reached zero, detonating bolts fired, a series of events led to the missile going into a steep dive. It was supposed to be powered, but the dive caused fuel starvation, hence the silence.

Dear Dakica,
If you know nothing about history please study. But until you do please keep quite.
If hittler had won there would be no democracy. Are you familiarized with the concept of facism? probably too young to even know the word... but Today Europe would be a Fascist closed continent.
About your comment on Portuguese (and Greeks), shows that you don't know much about economy or people..

This tech is actually not that precise or good... This "missiles" were mostly a terror tactic. The allies were actually much more advanced in Radar tech which had much more weight in WWII ;)
vascoa 8 months ago
@vascoa Might have been only a terror tactic, but V1 led to V2 which led to intercontinental ballistic missiles of the cold war. Some of the German tech might have been useless at the time, but they were a strong base for the future tech.

@terrorist277
Some of the german tech was hasted into action before the projects had time to mature, nevertheless they did advance quite a lot on some technologies.. there's no way around it.
Also the turbojet engines and first jet airplanes could have weighted on the war, but when they appeared on the skies they were nothing more than curiosities (dangerous ones too).. Which is a good thing :)..
The Americans and Russians did profit from german scientists..
