my hd tv display doesn't have a component option but with the hd receiver will it have a component option?
-
@raydvd so if i do buy a free-view HD here in the UK can i record a tv show on HD if its not free-view plus ?
-
Why didn't you mention the optical out?
-
@khizer2006 yes, but not as you expect, there are only 4 HD channels on Freeview HD. Everything else will look the same low def. Sky+ is a better system with more HD content but you have to pay.

@justdoit2u I was watching a video on youtube where a guy said that it functions as a dual tuner if I plug in an external hard-drive. So you can record one channel, and watch another channel at the same time (The video is called Humax HD-Fox T2 used for Saorview - Part 1, he says and displays it near the end of the video).
Where are you getting your information from?
-
No Optical connection only L&R Audio, Why No Optical?

@paulallen34 Record Via USB.
I sell these at PC World in edinburgh

I was gonna write some thing about the way you pronounced "Hue-max" but i thought better of it.
