Uhm... Darkwave is a genre, but there is no such thing as "Gothic Music", because, the "Gothic Metal" is actual symphonic metal, and this kind of music, is just orchestral or instrumental... It could be named Gothic, but there is no genre named "Gothic music".
Just because a lyric or some sort of melodies is what you guys call "dark" doesn't mean you can call it gothic.
Adrian, don't get me wrong, I LOVE your music. But as I said, there is no music genre called "Gothic"

Thank you! I actually agree with you, Darkwave is a Genre, but "Gothic" alone is not. The Reason why I label my Songs that Way on YouTube is not meant in a Genre-related Way though, I think I have to explain that. It's simply "Music for the Gothic Subculture". I could call it Darkwave too, or Neoclassical, but I call it Gothic to unite People from a Subculture, not just from a Genre.
