@LTG22 Yep - you guys are dead right. It is a known film rule and even has a name or two - "killing your babies" or "killing your darlings". As I understand it (from a screenwriting POV) it is a way to make all of the other scenes you write that much better - so if you kill your best scene, you force yourself to make the others great - that is how I understand it anyhow and just sharing. Great scene here - thanks for posting it!!

@Santana2163 I know, it is confusing, but in film school and even in the highest levels of film, it is a known rule. It even carries over to screenplay. Sometime its time constraints other times it just does not fit into the budget. I don't know the reasons for all, but I do know it is a film rule.

@LTG22 Why would you want to delete your favorite scene? Doesnt make sense

@ChrisC11291980 In the film world, you have to be willing to delete your favorite scene. It is a strange thing but it happens in all films. Its a writers/filmmakers rule.

This is a really emotional scene. I love it.
-
This shouldn't be a deleted scene. Stallone should have left it in.
-
The added flashbacks and background music made this scene even better than the original!Well done if it was your work dude!

Please, translate to spanish!!!.

the character of Rocky Balboa is an inspiration to the average joe, like most of us are, we all can relate to him in one way or another...he is real, like life is real, he never gives up no matter what the circumstance or the odds against him, he he may not win the first time but he gets his shit together, and finishes his way. he decides when it's over, not anyone else! he symbolizes the fighter in us all! you are all heart Rock!
