This video was inspired by a character medley done by BobbinAndGuidoShow. I did this just to summarise all the character's stories for the majority of the series - and because I was bored in the last days of the holidays. Here are the stories of the songs!
Outlaws - Their struggle against the tyranny of the Sheriff - and the fun they have doing it.
Robin - This narrates the way he has to keep up a bright face for all the people of Nottingham but he still feels robbed of all that he loves. (Hem hem - Lady Knighton)
Marian - The way she feels trapped by the façade she has to adopt to protect herself and her father and the way she feels torn from Robin when she needs him most. :(
Robin/Marian - Their "everlasting luuuuurve" story
Gisbourne - Does this man ever smile if it's not in a lecherous and cruel way? His story of depression and his suit of black leather that he desperately needs to wash! We should all call him Johnny Cash.
Much - His shock and upset at the way his ideal life of luxury has collapsed into a pile of dust the size of Hagrid and Little John put together. (Oh dear, I started out quite seriously didn't I? Where did that go?)
Will - Will is the youngest but the most serious of the outlaws because of the way he's lost his mother and the experience of poverty he's had. (Back on track now)
Allan - This is about Allan's outlook on life and his comic relief and optimism that he brings to the gang. (I know he has serious moments as well, but that's off-subject.)
Little John - John has a very direct way of coping with people - hitting them with his staff.
Djac - The way that Djac copes with being in a man's world all the time - but obviously being a woman.
Sheriff- Erm...uhh...OK, so I can't think of any clever narratives but I thought the idea was hilarious.
Soundtrack is property of it's creators, Robin Hood is property of the Beeb and I am not making any money from this video. Please don't sue me!
