By http://www.dlrpmagic.com : Armageddon - Les Effets Speciaux in Backlot at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris

Special effects attraction (ride) based on the 1998 film, taking you into an intricate Russian space station set that then catches fire, opens a vacuum and falls apart before your eyes!

Get ready to put yourself in the picture, as you step onto the intricate film set of an orbiting space station, to film a thrilling new effects scene.

As the meteorite shower makes impact, the space station begins to fall apart all around you - the ceiling collapses, the floor creaks, a broken door pulls a vacuum on the room and a series of intense fiery blasts take you closer to Armageddon than you'd ever thought possible.

  • @skankster69 It can be a pre-show for it's neighbour "Rock N Rollercoaster" by Aerosmith. The song "I don't wanna miss a thing" can play straight after this ride. Boom! There's your great Armageddon ride!

  • @TheGazzani I came out crying. That ride scarred me for life. I think after that I became completely scared of fire rides and fire altogether.

  • I went on this when I was about 6. Safe to say I almost literally crapped myself on this. I'm going back in October and I think this time I will come prepared (extra pair of panties) I loathe this ride so much (because it's scary as anything) but my mum loves it.

  • @iXNineR If you look good, When the fire comes up from the upside, There is much mist and water comming out of the downside. I got pretty wet in it when i was there :P

  • @SforzandoFilms I take it back, that attraction closed apparently. But it was pretty close to as dangerous as this is.

  • @24KevinMatthew We do have something like it in the US. It's called the Backdraft show and it's at Universal Studios in Hollywood.

  • @iXNineR True that, i was very close to the fireball the first time and wasn't heard or anything. The ride is great but not for the little ones.

  • I went in that attraction and I was so scared afterwards that I cried

  • There is no danger at all. Notice that whenever there is a fireball, a cloud of wet mist is sprayed out a split second before - the fire lights the cloud and make the effect seem far more dangerous than it is.

  • kinda of dangerous...
