This is a demonstration of the current state of the general-purpose all-3D level editor I'm working on. Check out http://shrinker.beyond-veils.de/ or http://www.intercomm.com/shrinker/ (mirror) for more information. I can already augment the mapping process for Source Engine-based games (read: Half-Life 2) with it, speeding up the process. The conversion tools for different target platform file formats are open-sourced and can be found on my homepage with the releases. More converters will certainly follow.
The grid menu ("newbie menu") is there to help new users get used to the shortcut keys that the speedy work flow depends on. Through this menu, there is also some helpful information accessible for each function. I hope to be able to release an initial version of this program this month.

Sudden jumps in the video are a result of cuts.
There is a means to contact me listed on my homepage. I also respond to YouTube comments.
Any pictures or videos on what the maps look like when ported to Source?
