My dog's last day

On April 25 2009, Brutus Clayton passed away. Do to a long, age related illness, he had no choice but to put him to sleep and if we hadn't, he would have been dead by the end of the day (we know this because his tounge was going black- a sign that his amune system was shutting down). :-( he was 13 years old.. This video was one of two in which i say goodbye.

today was my dogs last day and now im crying again.. she JUST left 10 min ago to get put down cuz she is too old :'(

@nfsmw0099 its tough. and im not going to lie, its going to get tougher, but just remember it is for the best. my dog should have been put down weeks before we did. the day we did put him down would have been his last either way. the fact that we did end his pain, is a good thing. just like what you have doen for your dog.

@nfsmw0099 thats even tougher. im sorry to hear that. don't think of it was a bad thing. think of it as 3 days less of pain. for my dog, i could see that he was in pain. i dont think i could watch im one more day like that. i still am kicking myself every time i think about how i could have ending that pain sooner for him....

I know what its like i had a dog just like yours she was a german shepherd called tess and she had a chuma in her rib cage we didnt put her down she just went her last few months were spent living in spain she had a nice life R.I.P tessa!
