Do you honestly believe this mare would be rated 110 if racing in this era?Pheidias a moderate chaser running this week is currently rated 110 after 34 races and managing to win 2 of them!! I can only presume you have a very limited knowledge of this game..As regards the relative merits of todays champions and Arkle,my own guess would be at least the length of the run in.I.M.H.O.
P.S. HO'F was a tip top handicapper in her own right.........

the horse arkle was giving weights to were rated no more then 110, the arkle myth was created to boost national hunt racing, if arkle raced in todays goldcup he would be tailied of, infact kauto would lap him
