I'm staying at this place a few days from now and always wondered what they will have. These sure are nice!

they are small because it was built in the 1920's. they were much smaller back then. I used to work there.

there is one by the pool, and another one, that just serves 2 floors behind the steps. they however are hydraulic. and of course the two traction elevators that you rode on. so 4 elevators that i know of. when i was there, the motor on the elevator was very strange. it sounded like they made it quiter.

THANK YOU for filming this. We went here in 1995 and it was the last vacation I had with my mother before she died. I remember these elevators well. and thanks for making me think of my mom as well. it was a great trip. what brought you to the sagamore??

My dad goes here to Lake George every summer and meets his friends there and this was my first time going with my dad we were switching boats so while we were waiting I went with my dad to The Sagamore Hotel and rode the elevators do you ever wonder why they are so small?
