@Lizfan2 Yes, I complete agree. Finding ways to control the massive has been a dream of many religious leaders from the beginning of time. If Mormon uses religion to have fun, meet people,etc.. That would be fine however they take it so serious and its starts to look more like a military draft for teenagers and a shake down for adult working. So they want kids to give 2 years of their lives, $10,000 and recruit others to give 10%. For adults, they want 10% and to give up your kids. for shame.

@Armornone There have been other leaders in all the other religions who have used God & religion to do whatever they want & control people. Look at the pedophile Catholic priests. Look at the Islamic jihadist leaders. There are probably numerous examples but I can't think of more right now. But Mormon leaders are not the only ones who abuse their religious authority.

@Armornone I never believed in the "living prophet" idea to begin with. But Mormons are not Catholic & everyone in America is allowed to believe whatever they want & practice whatever religion they want. Just because Mormons believe what they believe does not make them stupid, crazy or criminal. As for the "living prophets" using their authority to profit off the people, I agree they should be locked up, but how is their abusing their authority any different from other religious leaders?

@Lizfan2 Yes, that is the spirit! Thank you for finally coming around. Monson want wants to profit from having people believe that he is a living prophet and God just happens to command him to do whatever Monson happens to want. Its absurd with these mormons. The so called living prophet will even contradict Joseph Smith, Brighman Young and the book of Mormon to fit their own personal political and financial agenda. I would not trust Monson with my wallet in a police station. He is a fraud.

@Armornone Oh. I thought they were elected. Monson? Heck Warren Jeffs was creepier. So was the head of the Kingston clan. & Mitchell. I'm Catholic so I consider the idea of "living prophets" to be blasphemous anyway.
