@Kobe24Pauer KG was the leader of the 2008 team. He was the teams best player and was 4th in the MVP race. But Pierce was the best player in the Finals, as it is called Finals MVP for a reason. Probably because he was matched up with Redmadovic, while KG got Odom/Gasol. Gasol never carried the Wolves on his ass to the Conference Finals, he's never gotten an regular season MVP or a All-Star MVP (maybe because he's been an All Star 3 times against KG's 13) KG>Gasol, sorry...

Garnett wasnt the Celtics leader when Boston won the NBA championship in 2008. Paul Pierce was. (MVP). Same that Gasol in LA. Even thinking that Gasol is the most important piece in my opinion. He does it all. Prime Garnett was better than Prime Gasol, but the gap isnt that big people think. Gasol is an unbelievable talent.
