Just finished playing along with this with my new pennywhistle. Sounded awesome. Excellent job!
-
Better than me!
-
@Peilai2 Haha that would be right, if she was above 14, but clearly she isn't.
-
Amy, you sound beautiful. If you're even better now - wow, I'm 58 and play *almost* as you do here, on a good day. Good luck!

:P Her bowing arm is abit stiff and she jerks it abit when she plays, she needs to relax more i think, but aside from that she's excellent.

wow your really good im' ok at it i've only played for one year

@HannahFitz427 I know! My orgestra is playing this also. I am doing it for the talant show and I am way slower than this! She's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

@Turisas4 Wow, just realized that this video is over 2 years old! Amy is much improved now. She only had 2 years of lessons at the time of this recording.

Wow I love the song and ofcourse the way you're playing it!
Could you perhaps try sending me the sheet music?

@alinaskaiser I don't know if we have the sheet music. Her teacher has a book of some basic irish tunes you can try looking up: Pamela Kather is her name.

Good technique, but you need some feeling. This is like Roboroad. You need to picture yourself in a bar in Dublin with the smell of cows warfing in and the sounds of taps sparking your cadence.

We have plenty of cows and their smells around here. She needs not try to imagine that. And she's too young to be in a pub or bar. :) Thanks for stopping by.
