I truly doubt she hates herself. And it makes me sad to see the egotism and judgement in your post. "The world loves Iranian culture and modesty"- what possibly leads you to believe that? Everyone in this world is unique and different, and that makes it beautiful. You shouldn't be so harsh and judge others for pretty much not liking what YOU like. That doesn't make them a bad person, or make them wrong. It just makes them different.

Wow, there seem to be quite a few rude comments on this video. She didn't "ruin" anything. The original is still as wonderful as it has always been. And she did this song as a tribute because she, too, likes it. And there is nothing wrong with that. I think she is beautiful, and has a wonderful voice.
