Oops, I meant George Lucas edited the early cut, not Spielberg! But they were friends and the early viewing together s on record (do a google, or ask Lucas personally :) )

Very nice work, you've got nearly 100,000 views on the original.

In reality, before Spielberg had the special effects in place he cut in scenes from 'The Battle of Britain'. Geaorge Lucas is on record as saying he watched an early cut of Star Wars with Spielberg featuring those scenes. It's obvious from the dialog that the climatic scene in Star Wars is influenced by Dam Busters. Spielberg & Lucas modeled many of their enemies on the Nazis from WW11.
