Halo 1 - Banshee Out Of Level Tutorial

Tutorial for the banshee out of level trick (BOOL) on the level Assault on the Control Room. The trick can be performed on any level with a banshee, although if you nab a banshee on Keyes at the end of the level, you can fly through walls already so there is no need to BOOL. The trick is useful because you can skip walking parts inbetween load zones with the speed of the banshee. If the whole level was one big loading zone, you could theoretically fly from the first place you enter the BOOL to the end of the level.

I don't know why, but BOOLs work best when the banshee is placed outside of doors like in the video. Any closer you get warped out of the banshee, any further you get stuck in the void (try it out, you'll see what I mean). You just need to enter the banshee slightly before the other player crosses the loadzone. Easy trick once you get it down.

On Two Betrayals, banshees like to disappear at random times, so keep track of yours.
