Curtis Dubay of The Heritage Foundation discusses how much American families pay in taxes and how the massive expansion of government spending will affect the amount paid. On average, households pay $22,000 in federal taxes in 2008, and this figure is expected to increase in the years to come.

  • It is not health care reform that the liberals care about. What they care about is making more people dependent on them.

    There is no choice involved.

You will pay for govt. subsidized health care insurance whether you have it or not. There's only so much much in taxes you can levy before there is no incentive to earn. Cap and trade is another way to take money out of your pocket so they can spend it for you because they know how to direct your life and enegy better than you do.
