  • This scene is just plain awkward

  • If we keep sending our boys overseas to get shot up, the women in this country may have to learn to share for real.

The measuring stick I always use to determine whether something is good or bad is to ask the question, what if everybody did it?

  • I am not a polygamist, but to me it seems as natural as regular marriage. marriages itself is a social construction and the fact that certain forms of marriages are labeled wrong is ridiculous. if you want to have two wives, what's wrong with that. if that's how you choose to live that should be your right as long as you're not hurting anyone else. Individual Liberty!!! it's not just a phrase you can use to make yourself seem more tolerate and open minded, you actually have to abide by it.

  • everybody its a tv show calm down if you dont like it dont watch it thats whats so great about cable there are thousands of channels so you can change it when something you dont like is on

  • @1000huzzahs: We are all @ liberty to act on our private vices, so long as they remain that, private. To demand that our private vices be given public acknowledgement, @ great public expense, is not a matter of tolerance, it is a demand for approval. Your private vices are your business, don't expect the rest of society to stand by applauding. W/in reasonable limits you can make a wreck of your life as you see fit. Just live the rest of us out of it.

  • @VictorLepanto probably the point is that Mormons are so dead-set against letting gays live their lives as they see fit without political interference by Mormon machinery (manhours and money) that it's ironic some of their own feel cast out for having "non-traditional families." Que Ironico.

  • @VictorLepanto ...closet-case....

  • @freebrook Ahhh... the benefits of polygamy! ; )

  • @ThePassion81: I am not saying homosexuals are abusive. I am saying that homosexual acts are AN abuse. THEY are intrinsically disordered. Anyone who perpetrates them is abusing himself & whoever he uses to practice them. A homosexual, whatever that means b/c sexuality is rarely that simple, is not abusive simply by being a homosexual. A mere taste for disordered behavior, so long as you don't act on it, is not sinful. It is like an alcoholic who has remained sober for 30yrs.

  • @VictorLepanto The point--you have missed it. Abusers are heterosexual, Joe is heterosexual therefore Joe is an abuser is as fallacious argument as your statement that all homosexuals are abusers. And tricked? Jacob may have been "tricked" into marrying Leah but he CHOOSE to enter into a polygamous second marriage with Rachel. No one held a gun to his head forcing him marry Rachel as well or to have sex (and children) with both of them. Make all the excuses you like to reason out his sin.
