Muslim ''Grave'' of Refugees who died while trying to cross the Evros-River from Turkey to Greece.

The followıng information the local Mufti gave us:
The first grave is from 1998.But in the last one or two years the number of people who have been been buried here increased a lot. Most people propably drowned. Sometimes their bodys are found after month, then brought to athens first to do the postmortem examination, what again might take longer than one month. Then they are brought here because they are thought to be muslims. (And Sidiro is one of the few muslim communities in this region.)
