@texjoy56 Because he's not in space, he's on the moon. the moon has gravity....its got mass (about 1/6th of Earths)... in space, things float around because you and everything in your capsule are plummetting back to earth at the same speed under the same gravitational acceleration (you're juse lucky enough to be travelling fast enough to orbit rather than hit the ground)...

My question is why would NASA fake the moon landing? Another thing is I thought in space there was no gravity and things floated around with no control. So how can the astronaut be walking on the moon? Just my dumb question.
