  • RUTH = MOST AMAZING PERSON EVER!

  • What a talented man Poliakoff, what a beautiful movie. Pure art. I wish I lived in England (land of talented, beautiful people) authentically. No Oscar nominated talentless shit. Dialogs not making sense, whatsoever (you don't know if you should laugh, no cry). Killing, running, shooting, ER, Law and order,in a country where there is no order. She is just beautiful in this movie.

  • Dear Ruth Wilson fans, go watch A Real Summer!!! Her performance there is just a masterpiece! it's her very best work imo. Yes, even better than those fantastic Jane, Queenie, Mary and Alice Morgan!!

  • "There is no punchline" ironically sums up most of Poliakoff's films.

  • tedfrantic,

is there such a thing coming up called Poliakoff Appreciation Society? that would be great, just what i am looking for.

    Can I join? How?

  • who wants to join the Poliakoff Appreciation Society? - A meeting place for all of us more 'refined' types that can really appreciate the subtlety of nuance and suggestive pregnant dialogue of a really pretentious piece of shit.

  • I just love Ruth Wilson such an amazing talent and to have the opportunity to perform Poliakoff's work - The Man is a Literary Genius.

  • she is AWESOME!!!! LOVE YOU RUTH!!!

  • The sound is played each morning on BBC Breakfast here in the UK. Mate tpwff, England isn't like Steven Poliakoff films but it's charming to hear that every one is beautiful and talented haha!!! I wish that were true

  • Does that sound begin in every BBC show? I've seen that sound in BBC World in PBS Houston.
